About Panhala Tourism

Panhala is one of the attractive towns located in the Kolhapur locality of Maharashtra. Panhala is the least important town of the state. Often referred to as Municipal assembly, the town is established central the outpost, which offers a appealing outlook of the valley. Panhala is disperse over an area of 390 acres .

The history of the place travelled to designated days back to 1191-92, the signs of which lies in a copper plate discovered in Satara. It depicts that Panhala was the chair of Silahara Bhoja Raja II.
