The Mahuli fort holiday.


Mahuli-outpost is a attractive hill terrain established in the outskirts of Thane locality of Maharashtra. The place visited is established at the confluence of two rivers namely, Krishna and Yenna. Situated at a size of 2,815 feet, the place visited is surrounded by dense plantation, which is declared as a natural book.

The history of Mahuli-Fort is assessed with diverse events going out with back to the 15th years. In 1485, the fort was under the direct of the Nizam Shahi Dynasty. Many battles were fought by Shivaji Maharaj to protect this outpost from the Mughals and British. although, the outpost came under the rule of the British after 1817.












Displaying architectural excellence, the destination has numerous outposts and temples of the Maratha Dynasty. The location is furthermore popular for diverse fairs and carnivals that are coordinated throughout Maha Shivaratri and on the last Monday of the Shravan month.

Mahuli-Fort presents a beautiful view of temples at the foothills, hills and deep and dense timber plantations. Boleswera, Rameswara, Sangameswara and Visveswera are some of the famous Hindu temples located in Mahuli. Mahuli-Fort is a famous place for trekkers, as it has attractive high ground forts and hill peaks
