The Ratnagiri Tourism

Ratnagiri is city established on the western coast of the Indian State of Maharashtra. The town has numerous timber plantations, sandy shores and outposts, which appeal numerous visitors from all over the world. The place was one time an administrative capital and dock of the Muslim Kingdom of Bijapur. Ratnagiri came under the reign of the Satara monarchs in 1731, but later the British Empire took over in 1818.

There are some beaches in Ratnagiri namely Ganeshghule sandy shore, Bhatye sandy shore, Ganapatipule sandy shore, and Mandavi sandy shore. On these sandy shores, there are amenities for adventurous activities like paragliding and water sports.
